Please indicate the degree of discomfort you have experienced in the following areas over the past week. For each question, please drag the slider to the number that best describes your condition (0 = none, 10 = very severe.)
The Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Disease Activity Index (BASDAI) is a self-assessment tool used to measure the severity of ankylosing spondylitis (AS) symptoms. The BASDAI consists of six questions that ask about the severity of fatigue, spinal pain, joint pain, areas tender to touch, discomfort from the time you wake up, and morning stiffness.
The BASDAI is used to monitor disease activity and treatment response in patients with AS. A higher BASDAI score indicates more severe symptoms and greater disease activity. Your healthcare provider may use your BASDAI score to adjust your treatment plan and assess the effectiveness of your current treatment.
